Solar Charging Stations arrive on UVI campus!

CGTC has been awarded an Energizing Insular Communities grant from the US Department of Interior. As part of this project CGTC has installed solar charging stations on the OEK campus. In the coming weeks these stations will also be installed in St. Croix. Charging stations allow students to access power and work outside in a safe environment. In addition, CGTC is working to perform a campus-wide energy audit to identify ways to reduce energy costs and build a zero-energy lab on St. Croix to assist with the upcoming Renewable Energy Technology Associate Degree program.https://cgtc-usvi.com/energizing-uvi
